After a couple of starts and stops, I think I have finally found a topic (getting a new job and starting it) that I can sink my teeth into. Something that gives some structure to the blog but will still allow me to include more mundane and yet personal stuff.
So this first post is simply a gateway from the old to the new. I gave notice on Monday. Never easy. Very emotional. My start date is July 14th. 5 weeks notice. But of course, they wanted 6! I understand but at some point I need to stop taking responsiblity for what is going on here and start focusing on the new place and my new life. Hopefully this blog will help other people out there who are looking to change jobs.
I am also thinking that starting a blog today on Friday the 13th is a good omen for my future at this new job…..fingers crossed!!!
